Valencia: The passion for football in South America is incomparable
Ecuador’s go-to man for several years now, Enner Valencia is now bringing hope to Copa Libertadores semi-finalists Internacional. This, after all, is a player who can be relied upon to deliver on the big occasion and when the pressure is on.
Signed in June, the striker has scored four goals in four games for the Porto Alegre side in his first Libertadores campaign in 10 years. Those goals helped Inter beat River Plate and Bolivar and set up an all-Brazilian semi-final against Fluminense, with the first leg taking place on Wednesday at the Maracana.
