Having suffered a 7-0 reverse at the hands of DPR Korea in their opening match, head coach Kim Eun-jung knows that her side can ill afford to drop any more points if they are to reach the knockout stage.
“All of our coaching staff and players are motivated to win three points in the match against Indonesia,” said Kim.
“We have everyone fit and are working well to recover after the first game, we will try to show what we have prepared in the training.
“Me and my coaching staff went to watch Indonesia play the Philippines and we have to be cautious because it is obvious that all teams in Asia have improved their levels.”
Similarly Indonesia are also looking to bounce back after their 6-1 defeat to Philippines with head coach Mochizuki Satoru looking to make some alterations to his side.
The Japanese felt that two particular areas are up for improvements and it will be the main focus for the hosts ahead of the crunch tie.
“We know Korea Republic are a good team and we want to give them a challenge,” said Satoru. “Compared to our first game, there could be differences in our tactics.
“Positions that I’m concentrating on are the defence and in attack because we have to be better in the transitions.”
