Jrue Holiday was a freshman at UCLA in 2008. He was approaching his seat to watch its women’s basketball team, the Bruins, when a girl, mistaking him for future NBA point guard Darren Collison, asked for his autograph. Holiday politely explained that he wasn’t Collison and sat down.

Suddenly, a head popped over his shoulder from the row behind. “Don’t worry,” said the brunette, “you’re cuter than Darren is.”

That brunette was Lauren Cheney. She’s now Lauren Holiday. They’ve been together ever since, married for 11 years, and have two kids.
